Discorder Magazine
CiTR 101.9 FM is the broadcasting voice of the University of British Columbia, situated on unceded, traditional, and ancestral land of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ speaking xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) people. CiTR publishes Discorder Magazine six times a year—a free, local magazine that strives to amplify the voices of underrepresented communities & artists. Hayley has had her illustrations appear in 10 issues to date. Discorder gives budding or experienced, young or old creatives the confidence to pursue their craft head-on. For this reason, Discorder has given Hayley the opportunity to escape the intricacies of every-day life by flexing her creative muscles, take daring risks, and further strengthen her processes. A dedicated musician herself, Hayley has come to be recognized for her illustrations in Discorder that accompany editorial on local musicians. These illustrations are bold, fearless and ooze soul—mirroring the musicians themselves.
