Birthed by Hayley Schmidt and Jamie Hill, Clamor zine was created to shine a light on the DIY music scene in Vancouver. The aim of Clamor is to showcase local musicians, celebrate diverse forms of expression, and recognize the importance of cultivating communities around craft. With a growing number of DIY community arts spaces and venues being forced to shut down in Vancouver, it is a crucial time to celebrate the importance of the people who are involved in keeping the scene alive. Clamor aims to do just that.
This 14-page zine contains intimate interviews, latest releases, new acts, and behind the scenes of local shows. Clamor combines the values of music, design, art and community into a small, but mighty zine.
